I suffered for at least 12 years with low back pain severity that my relationships have all but ceased.I never go out anymore, no movies, no fishing or hunting. I really dont drive my 4X4 anymore, for fun anyway.I used to produce clay art pieces and draw,paint,sculpt.My temper is so short and my responses to others great successes are so subdued.Chronic pain can be so disastrous,if I get sent back i’m going to stay off of ice and stairs.My coccyx hurts all the time now and my diks are problematic.Hard work can be restorative, bless the toilers.Hoping the numbers regarding cost and frequency can be turned around.I would’nt wish this onto the least significant.

Question by TBone: Does anyone know of a respected acupuncture clinic, specializing in pain relief, in the Los Angeles area?
I am seeking acupuncture treatment in the greater Los Angeles area. I am looking for someone that has at least 10 years experience specifically for pain relief and is highly sought after and is highly recommended. Please only answer if you have personal experience or can provide a source.

Question by Tim H: Is there a natural treatment for lower back pain?
I have lower back pain, and have been looking for a natural back pain relief type treatment. What kinds of things can I do? Pilates, yoga, weights, massage are all good, but the only thing that really makes it feel any better is to go to the chiropractor. I get nervous about the adjustment because it usually hurts, but at least I feel better for a few hours, or a few days if I am lucky.

Someone suggested that it has something to do with stress and eating junk food, but I don’t know how that could be. anything about any of that. any suggestions there?

if you carry your wallet in your back pocket ,that could be a reason for the lower back pain or a pinched nerve too.

Just had this treatment, considering spinal fusion if this doesn’t work.

And how long does it take for the pain relief to kick in?

I have had several epidural steroid injections for L4/5. I takes from a day or so to a week to get the pain relief. The first one lasted 3 years but as my back got worse they lasted a shorter time. Finally, my spine was so bad I had a lumbar laminectomy and fusion. GOOD LUCK! I understand your pain!
